Brilliant documents! All I wanna say is thank you rangers!

I read every document here. Thank you. I cannot decide what to do. My product is a development framework. It must have versions for VS2008 & VS2010, with long lifespans. It seems the scenarios do not address my situation. Once I upgrade the projects they cannot be merged back. Some C# files can be merged. New Entity Framework 4 extensions cannot be merged back. What shall I do?

Segregating the strategy by the number of branches seems naive IMHO. Although I can see the usefulness of keeping everything consistent, I don't see extra value in having these many number of branches as compared to careful labeling.

Nice. Could have some more info on folder structure and how unit tests should be structured.

Nicely put together. Great work!

Excellent! I'm actually including it in my source control training (which actually uses SVN, rather than TFS) because it is so good. It is also technology agnostic which is very important.

The embedded attachments in the labs don't seem to work. Is there a way to get the attachments so that we can run the labs? Thanks for the update guys!

Well-written and presented content. Provides big impact on our service-centric and component-based application development and ALM practice for quality software delivery. Thanks the authors/contributors.

I really like what I see and read. There are many unrelated articles with good ideas about TFS Branching but this documents puts it all together in a nice format. Highly advisable for any Release Management Teams within corporations.

Nice improvement on the original guide. I really like the more "practical" approach than theory. I believe this guide will help a lot of teams trying to get a basic situation down. I would like to see some discussion on branching as related to VS projects themselves. Some guidance on project structure for these branch scenarios that explain how to create new projects and how to handle .sln files.

Great expansion of the original Branching Guidance. The scenarios are excellent food for thought and the poster helped me as a visual aid during my presentation to the team.
